About Project
Project type:Garden Portrait
Project year:2023
Tools used: Canon, Photoshop, Lightroom
OVERVIEW
This set of photos is a set of projects where the models and each other are free. The model's appeal was to present a natural and relaxed style. The location was chosen to be a botanical garden, which is more in line with nature, as it was a springtime shoot. The photos were taken with a Canon camera and a zoom lens. The initial colour palette was set to be highly saturated.
CHALLENGE
The biggest challenge to the shooting process was that the sun's rays were strong when it was a clear day. This results in a very noticeable light ratio and the overall style of the photo will be dark.
SOLUTION
When faced with a brightly lit environment, I try to meter the model as much as possible. This ensures that there is enough light on the faces of the characters and that the models can open their eyes under the bright light. At the same time, in the post-production, I use the colour mixing software to reduce the contrast and restore the original colours of the pictures to the maximum extent.
CONCLUSION
This project allowed me to conclude to avoid shooting in the brightest light moments of the day whenever possible. As well as the effects of more light during the shoot to create different styles of photos in different light.
